Trail Condition2008-06-05Watch out! Some trails are flooded. Check the depth of a so called water puddle before crossing it. ATVs can go anywhere but they are not boats. The Gagnon trail is heavily flooded. Be careful on the following trails: to get to the Shack, between Grant
and Boundary and on the new trail between Maisonneuve and 9 mile, there
is a lot of mud or as we would say, it's very muddy. 2008-05-18The trail from St-Pascal to Alfred is open. A few mud holes that are easy to get through. Have a nice ride. 2008-05-15Trails are now open. Please use caution when venturing on the trails as we are still in the process of cleaning and fixing them. If you see any potential hazards please don't hesitate to email us at maintenance@atv-vtteo.org. Gagnon trail will remain closed for a few more weeks. The trail leading to the paradis has been washed out before the bridge. Please check back for updates... Warning regarding passengers. Please remember that current legislation in Ontario does not allow for more than one person (the driver) on an ATV while riding on a designated municipal and/or provincial highway ("Road"). To do otherwise, i.e., riding with a passenger on a designated road, exposes you, the driver/owner, to a fine if you are stopped by the OPP and, further, the passenger may possibly be ordered to get off the ATV and walk back. A good portion of the Club’s trails run on designated municipal roads (Lalonde, Du Lac, Boileau, Clarence Cambridge Boundary, Neuf Milles, Grant (part of), Gagnon, Route 200, and possibly Indian Creek). Warning regarding passengers trailers. Be advised that ATV passenger trailers are not allowed on designated municipal and/or provincial highway (“Road”). To do otherwise, i.e., riding with a passenger trailer on a designated road, exposes you, the driver/owner, to a fine if you are stopped by the OPP. |
