The Second Annual Muscular Dystrophy Poker Run has come and gone.  People from all over came to help the causem more than 110 ATVer's took part in this year's ride. Further, Snowtracks Television was with us filming this year's ride.

We would like to thank the Club Optimiste de Hammond as well as Sylvain and Sylvie Couturier for once again their awesome help in organizing this event. Let's not forget all the hard work our volunteers have done in the organization of this poker run, without them, it would not have happened.

We would also like to thank our sponsors that helped make this event possible: Wheelsport, Mark's Auto and Cycle, Rockland Marine Equipment, Allan Johnston Repairs and Sales, Fashion Work Wear, Motel de Champlain, Casselman Motorsport, Bearbrook Farm, l'Orignal Packing as well as Jean-Pierre Chartrand, our councillor for Ward 7. Also, special thanks to the checkpoint hosted by Les Beaux-frères in St-Isidore and to the Ontario Provincial Police and to our trail wardens.

The best part of the night was the donation to Muscular Dystrophy of Canada which totalled $2,850, which is a $1,000 more than last year's. Thank you.
